Linus and Paul, Hunter Division Champions, 2007 |
Echo had 5
pups on 8/15/07! The pups arrived on schedule and the
proud parents are now alone again after the pups have gone to their new
homes. Samer Buremi was the Sire of these wonderful puppies.

The Small Munsterlanders bred by Jaegerbakkens Kennel are approved by the Small Munsterlander Club of North America (SMCNA) and meet all breeding requirements. Echo is expecting puppies in March 2008 If you are interested in a puppy from this breeding to Appi contact us
by email or call us! This breeding was performed by using Artificial Insemination.
The vet extracted and injected about 400 million sperm with a motility of 80-90%
right at the entrance to the cervix of Echo (a successful breeding normally takes at least
100 million sperm with a motility of 70%.) To ensure that the AI was performed at the
right time Echo's progesterone level was measured and the injection was made after the
level exceeded 5 ng/ml (she was actually at 10.1 ng/ml).
The pups will be full brothers and sisters to Jaegerbakkens Linus. SMCNA
Breeding Requirements In an effort to maintain the integrity of the breed and its inherent hunting abilities the Small Munsterlander Club of North America has developed breeding recommendations that should be followed. These recommendations are based on the European requirements for breeding, they are not onerous, they are based in basic common sense and on the knowledge of genetics.
